About supervision with Jamie
Jamie is a Clinical Psychologist and STAP-approved supervisor who provides clinical supervision grounded in evidence-based practice, reflective learning and a neuroaffirming, person-centred approach.
Jamie has experience working with children, adolescents and adults, with particular clinical interests in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders and related presentations. Her approach draws on evidence-based interventions, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and inference-based cognitive behavioural therapy (I-CBT).
Jamie offers a warm, collaborative and supportive supervision environment where psychologists can develop their clinical confidence, strengthen case formulation and treatment planning skills, and reflect on complex presentations. She has a particular interest in supporting psychologists to provide compassionate, neuroaffirming care for neurodivergent clients, including those experiencing co-occurring OCD, anxiety, autism and ADHD.
Jamie also has a strong interest in Asian Australian mental health and race-related wellbeing, including the psychological impacts of discrimination, cultural identity, belonging and navigating different cultural expectations. She values culturally responsive practice that recognises the broader social and cultural contexts shaping clients’ experiences.
Supervision can encompass clinical reasoning, evidence-based interventions, assessment and diagnosis, ethical practice, culturally responsive and neuroaffirming care, and navigating the complexities of clinical work. Jamie aims to support psychologists in developing their own authentic therapeutic style while maintaining evidence-based, high-quality and individualised care.
